How do you protect yourself?
- Keep your browser and system up to date.
- Turn on tracking protection in your browser settings (for example strict protection in Firefox or Prevent cross-site tracking in Safari).
- Don't give every site access to your location, camera and microphone. When asked, choose “Don't allow”.
- A private window doesn't save history or cookies, but it doesn't hide your IP address.
- A VPN hides your IP address, but choose a trustworthy one. Free VPNs often collect data.
