Flaky school Wi-Fi? Levels you have opened now keep working without a connection, and HexoQuest can be installed like an app.
School Wi-Fi drops at the worst moments. Now HexoQuest keeps going without it.
What works offline
- Pages you have opened load even without a connection.
- Whole courses: when you open a course page, all the levels you can play are saved in the background, so the whole course works offline.
- Your progress is never lost. If a save fails, it waits and is sent automatically as soon as you are back online.
- A small banner tells you when the connection drops and when it is back.
- Pages you have not opened yet show a friendly "You are offline" page with a list of pages that do work.
Safe on shared computers
Accounts, classes and payments are never saved on the device. Logging out clears every saved page, so the next student on a shared school computer starts clean.
Install it like an app
On a phone, tablet or Chromebook, choose Install or Add to Home screen in the browser menu. HexoQuest then opens in its own window with Hexo as the icon.
